On Wednesday 24th March 2009, CBi Ltd delivered a Spirent GSS8000 simulator system to the IESSG (Institute of Engineering Surveying and Space Geodesy) to form a key feature of GRACE (the GNSS Research and Applications Centre of Excellence) cited at the University of Nottingham in the UK.
The GSS8000 simulator replaces an earlier GSS7700 GPS system and adds the Galileo capability. Two GSS8000 chassis form the main elements of the new system which is controlled by Spirent's SimGEN software.
